CertTESOL: Selection Procedure

We follow a simple 3-step method to sign up for our CertTESOL course:

1. Submit An Application

The first step is expressing interest in our CertTESOL course. Once we receive your application, we will send a pre-interview task assessing your language awareness. The pre-interview task can be requested here.

2. Attend An Interview

After submitting the pre-interview task, an interview will be arranged with a tutor. This is where you'll get an opportunity to discuss the course and ask any questions you have.

3. Confirm Your Place

Once you've been offered a place, you'll be asked to secure your place on the course by paying a deposit.

4. Receive Pre-course Materials

After paying the deposit, you'll receive pre-course materials. These are designed to prepare you for the course with preparatory reading and tasks setting the foundations for developing an understanding of how the English language (grammar, vocabulary & pronunciation) works, and providing an awareness of the basic principles behind a 'communicative' teaching approach.

Note: Trainees are accepted on the course at the discretion of the Course Director.
